Steal these ideas.

Presented but never produced, I would love to see these happen. Besides, I can think up more.

Please spell my name right in the credits.

These ads move groceries, but not very far.

Part of a potential supermarket campaign promoting local produce, meat, fish, and in-store baked goods.

Transit shelter, with real carrots and soil in between the layers of plexiglass. The headline formed by hollow spaces in the soil.

Scratch n’ sniff transit shelters and street posters.

Actual hand-painted signs, like at road-side stands, placed inside transit shelter ads.

Vegetable and herb gardens planted on top of transit shelters. Real or prop, and ideally placed in areas with multi-storey apartments and offices.

Billboards and transit shelter ads made by layering headline decals over real produce labels and box panels.

A 3D or cut-out fish is mounted in front of a tri-board (billboards with rotating slats, normally used to display multiple ads). The artwork behind changes from river, to packing tray, to roasting pan.

Billboards featuring hot-out-of-the-oven baking have melted the snow around them. Electric mat-heating systems are hidden under fake grass or pavement in snowy locations.

Automatically updated digital billboards show freshly-packed baking and meats, aways with that day’s date on the label.

Put this anywhere in Western Canada. It’s OK—cows can’t read.

Animated digital ad.

They aren’t a truck fleet. They are mobile out-of-home stunts, ready for these concepts.

Casinos are an escape from the mundane.

Or the everyday. Or from home. It’s a common strategy but I haven’t seen it articulated this way, YET <exaggerated comical wink>.

Recruit some veteran engineers.

They’re experienced, craving a change, and seeking work that excites them. This creative strategy still excites me.

Modest budget?

Just put up a HELP WANTED sign, but put it somewhere noticeable.

Who doesn’t sell aphid killer these days?

Suggest your client run these roomy double-page spreads in the soybean press. (It’s a real thing.)

Variations for the layout above.

The hardest part is trying to make 1,373 aphid’s lives sound different.

Don’t steal this...

Because someone already has a Lion for a poster pretending to be a urinal. I know because we found out immediately after shooting these photos. Nice craft though, don’t you think?
